
Dr Baloyi is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working at Mulbarton hospital, South of Johannesburg.
Dr Stephen Baloyi was born in Pretoria and raised in Venda, Limpopo. He obtained his undergraduate degree at MEDUNSA in Pretoria in 2005. In Limpopo, he completed his internship and community service in 2006 and 2007, respectively. He continued to work in Limpopo until 2010 as a medical officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He returned to MEDUNSA in 2010 and also studied at Wits University in 2012 to pursue his dream of specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He successfully became a fellow of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of South Africa in 2016. He also obtained a Master’s degree at the University of Witwatersrand in the same year.
He is currently in private practice and has presented in multiple platforms at conferences both in public and private practices nationwide.
Dr Baloyi has a wide range of experience and provides modern and comprehensive treatment and diagnostic modalities in a caring environment for women throughout all stages of their lives.
He offers advanced maternity services for normal and high-risk pregnancies, postpartum care, family planning services, infertility screening and treatments and minimally invasive endoscopic surgeries. He also provides conventional Gynaecology surgeries and medical therapies. Dr Baloyi is currently registered and affiliated with the Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgical Education and Assessment (GESEA ) winners project.
Dr Baloyi's major interests are in high-risk Obstetrics, investigation and management of recurrent pregnancy losses, contraception, infertility workup, multiple pregnancy and menopause.
